Eastern Alpine Summit

Please note that we have decided to scale back the Eastern Alpine Summit this year for a number of reasons.  It is our intention to resume the full program again in October, 2013.

For 2012, we will be having a full day of coaches education seminars only on Sunday October 21, at the Killington Snowshed Ballroom.  There will be 4 separate seminars which will discuss vitally important information for coaches and for those that attend the entire day, you will receive a full ongoing coaches education credit from USSA.

We apologize for any confusion this change might have caused.

9:45 – 10:45am  Session 1   USSA Development philosophy and direction for 2012-13  Dr. Lester Keller USSA Alpine Regional Development Director

11am – 12:30 Session 2  How to be a better coach.  Finn Gundersen, Sport Education Director – High Performance Sports

12:30 – 1pm  Lunch (no charge, but you must pre-register in order to get lunch)

1 – 2pm  Session 3  Update on Concussions and concussion awareness.  Dr. Matt Gammons

2:15 – 4pm  Session 4  Children’s Course Setting – What you need to know  Jon Nolting, USSA Sport Education Director

In order to receive a full credit for ongoing coaches education, you must attend all 4 sessions.
